I couldn’t finish the doujin on time (I will just not before tomorrow) and realized I hadn’t done a single Halloweeny thing that I could recall, so Morning to Moon Halloween!
i started a comic about armand & daniel getting invited to a halloween gathering by some random kids they would hang out/party with in late 70s/early 80s NYC. i gave up around the 30th though & forgot until a week ago because of Life.
Why wait for a high milestone number when you can celebrate THE BEST number? Especially when you and your muse are Highly Mature Beings! This is a quick and silly shout out to everyone that decided to follow or interact with The Talamasca’s Number One Nerd. Y’all are the greatest!
The Geek Squad (Folks That Have Tolerated Miller More Than Once):
And I’m sure that I’ve missed people in this but that’s my fault for throwing this together while giggling like an idiot. I haven’t yet had a chance to interact with everyone following me but one day would love to change that. Everyone on this list (and other characters they may play) have definitely helped me to enjoy fleshing out this giraffe of an asshole.
I’ve wanted to redraw this for the longest time and I finally did. “Isabeau” is a short story drawn for the Manga Contest held by Ficomic back in 2006. You can see the old version here: http://noirgraphite.com/isabeau
“And I do not forget, I cannot, that being a guest at the vampire’s table, accepting this invitation, is not so much a game with the Devil, as you know I don’t care for the christian devils or demons, as it means to challenge my very own sense of morality, my humanity, sanity even, everything that I am, my own existence as a human being! Am I, by doing this, at agreement with everything I morally believe in? Am I true to myself? Do I stand to my convictions or abandon them? Or am I being a hypocrite? This is the painful realisation, the reality, of my peculiar predicament I have to face whenever I look at you. You are the killer, the destroyer of life. And as much as I try to rationalize it by overriding the simple horror that you are… with Darwinism and, my usual working, cynicism worth an atheist, but I cannot. There will always be distance between us. And mutual respect, perhaps, fondness even too, but understandably something in me will always feel unnerved by you. Also, you pay damn well…” ~Corbeau
Those who have read my fic are acquainted with my OC, Brian. Here’s a few pictures of hm (well, his FC, anyway.) Bottom pic is pretty much what he looked like when he first crossed paths with them.
“the-talamasca blog is the greatest thing to ever grace the fandom. They have tabs for real stories of paranormal stuff, the mun is hilarious and adept at writing as several agents at once, and they’re bringing us the Giant Talamasca Plot. Thank you, Fake The Talamasca, for being everything the Talamasca should be. (Miller should get a raise.)”
