Last night I dreamt that Lestat tried to crimp my hair and it looked terrible and when I woke up I felt sympathy for Louis de Pointe du Lac on a whole new level
Found a ton of old Vampire Chronicles books today and, honestly, I forgot how I loved Nicolas de Lenfent with my whole heart (guess who can’t draw violins though)
Anyway I did some dumb sketches because they’re a pretty cool gang I guess
Also, can we talk about how very badly I want Ashley Marie Witter to do a multi-volume illustrated version of The Vampire Lestat. I love Interview with the Vampire: Claudia’s Story.
I’m pretty darn excited??? With that, the series will possibly finally get the justice it deserves, and tumblr will explode from the art of vampire brats dads, More fan art for the community to enjoy!
Maybe I’ll get my vampire fever and boundless fan mode back with it

(I struggle to describe it to ppl, I usually cater the length and depth of my description based on my audience, for example, to describe it to my 7 yr old cousin (who loves vampires and was a vampire princess fairy for Halloween): “It’s mostly about a happy vampire family with 2 dads, and they don’t always get along with eachother or the world.”)
As Tom Cruise put it so eloquently, “The movie is not for everyone.” No value judgement there; it’s just not everyone’s cup of tea, so I don’t try to sell it.
