How many? It varies, sometimes none, usually 2-5… a question or comment really does make my day night, it’s heartwarming to see this new wave of activity in the VC fandom at all, and I’m grateful to be part of it in my own little way ❤

I got an Anon message today about an issue (the message started with an ellipsis “… ”) , and I’m not going to take a side, nor publish it(gonna practice nonviolentcivil disobedience
like Gandhi), bc it wouldn’t solve anything between the differing opinions but I have a need to respond to every message in a timely manner so this is how I have to do it.
This blog is about inclusiveness, and a big part of that is tolerance of different people’s opinions. Even if they are widely considered BATSHIT CRAY CRAY opinions. It’s not my job to tell people what to think. I run this blog for fun. If I really believe my concept of something is 100% infallible, I can only share my idea and the reasoning behind it, and hope I can win over the opposing side. Beyond that, it’s not worth getting aggravated over. 2 of my fave fandom mantras are:

It’s a great thing that there are informed people who want to correct the record here in tumblrland, and I have learned SO MUCH re: the wide spectrum of issues that we have in this world, my opinions have definitely been altered. Once you’ve said/writ your peace and the other side is still not budging, you may still be right, but try not to let it stress you out.
One thing about tumblr, and Life in general, is that there are a lot of uninformed ppl and ~hyperbole~ (veering towards the negative or the positive), is part of the language here since all we have is the written word, and sometimes meant to be a little sarcastic. Meant to even be humorous. “But I didn’t think it was funny! It was majorly offensive!” you say. Well, maybe you didn’t find it funny. Maybe 9/10 people didn’t. But, maybe it was funny for 1 person. At least that person who posted it. Plus, exaggerated opinions are more likely to be Liked/Reblogged, which encourages it.
