omg you must’ve looked wickedly cool. It’s an excellent combo. The girlier the lace, the grungier the leather, the better.
Re: it being an iconic moment: Oh I agree! It’s one of his most iconic moments in the movie, for sure, specifically bc it relates to fashion and a little bit about just being comfortable; bc when sleeves are bunched up like that it limits your range of motion, not good for driving but i digress. AND because we can see his hands are back to normal, he’s definitely feeling better already, and ready for another adventure… with Daniel this time!
Dear anon, this is an impossible question to answer a simple “Books 1-4″ or “Books 1-3, and then 5″ or such and so forth…
… as some ppl refuse to read Prince Lestat, or a bunch of the other books, won’t even give them a chance not that they all deserve a wholehearted chance necessarily…
Very good description. It really does depend on who you ask, I personally admit them all before Prince Lestat to be cannon, that last one went just a bit too far.
i I personally recommend that people read the first three books (IWTV, TVL, QOTD) and if they really enjoy it to try reading the rest of them.
But my caveat for that is that if they don’t care for Body Thief or Memnoch then still give Pandora and Vittorio a chance, then Armand, and if they enjoyed Armand and Pandora, to try Blood and Gold.
Its complicated, but so is the series, for such a seemingly straightforward concept of “vampires decide to write tell-all memoirs of their behind the scenes lives.”
i’d been talking to my sister about how the coven is like family that tolerate/love each other, then hate each over & over. only bc vampires it’s like hundreds of years instead of between holidays. we decided it reminded us of southern folk most bc lord god if any group is BEST at interchanging PA tolerance and grudging love, it’s

Well somewhere in the series – I think TVL? – Lestat says that vampiring makes learning things much faster, he learned to read and write just by watching the transcriber do it for him long enough. Same with technology and modern inventions.
In movie!IWTV, he was watching Daniel from the backseat for at least a mile or two before they got on the bridge.
