has anyone written the incredibly ridiculous coffeshop AU premise for Louis and Lestat yet? Like, is there a Vamp Chron Coffee Shop AU?

are they all human for this?

Like for some reason Louis is the moody neighborhood barista introvert and he probably doesn’t NEED to work the counter, probably he OWNS the damn coffee shop because his family is loaded but he just wanted a quiet place to read and an excuse to buy an industrial latte machine, but NOW he has a damn coffee shop and this OBNOXIOUS, utterly obnoxious customer who is also very blond comes in near closing all the goddamn time, and Louis hates this guy’s guts, like, so hard, and Obnoxious Blond is always trying to flirt and god he isn’t even that funny and he probably doesn’t even KNOW HOW TO READ. Louis hates him. So much. So, so much. Louis hates him and his stupid pretty eyes. Why does he come here? WHY WON’T HE LEAVE?

And then Lestat makes his move and then they make out wildly and probably break furniture, the end.

Tbh, I’ve only seen a few episodes so far, I’m waiting until it’s all broadcast and then I can binge it from the beginning ;D

But I really would love a VC figure skating AU… #fanfic request, #fanart request… Reminds me of this… @thacmis‘s Thor, Loki, Fandral figure skating AU magicalness…

If Eli from let the right one in was some how come in to the vampire chronicles universe how would s(he) acted and how would the other vampires think of her(him). I thought I should let a expert of the vampire chronicles series decide on this. Plus I do love vampire crosssovers and let the right one is my favorite bookmovie.

I’m so flattered you consider me a VC expert, but I’m not a Let Me In/Let the Right One In expert, I’ve only seen the two movie adaptations, and from what I can tell, the vampire rules in it are different than the VC vampires rules.

Among other great things, this vampire story also brought back the idea of having to be invited in, and without that permission, the vampire in question would start having physical reactions! Like a severe allergic reaction! We got the blood tears that not many vampire movies want (or are able) to tackle.

I think Lestat and Armand both would find Eli intriguing and would want to compare all the physiological differences in their vampirism, test those rules, and generally try to get Eli to push at the limits, and maybe learn something new. Whether they would embrace her and add her into the coven, that I don’t know. #Fanfic request! #Fanart request!

Eli seemed to need/prefer a human companion. I should read the book, it would be great to have some backstory re: if there had been any other vampires in Eli’s life, whether Eli had ever considered turning someone… whether that was even possible given Eli’s trapped-in-a-child/tween-body thing. I think Eli at least had a maker in the book version, but I don’t know why they were separated.

I had sex in a graveyard and was walking around nude cause it was like 80 degrees and I was all sweaty and it was like midnight or whatever.
So this car rolls up out of nowhere and I’m stark fucken naked.

…For our third annual Vampire Chronicles Secret Santa exchange!

If you participated last year, or participated in any of the other exchanges we hosted after, you should be familiar with how this works.  Think Secret Santa, but with no sharing of physical addresses.  The gifts given are all shared completely on Tumblr, be it drabbles, fanart, awesome graphics, or what have you.  We’ve had great turn outs the past couple of years, and I am definitely looking forward to seeing what great stuff you guys submit this year!

I feel like Lestat, Jareth, Thranduil and Lucius Malfoy are all brothers from different mothers. The resemblance in appearance and attitude is uncanny. Crossover with those four is much needed.

(Lestat loves the excuse of having Louis cling to him for dear life, and even though Louis finds the experience very disorienting and cold!, they both love the gorgeous view of the landscapes <3)
