I recite this every time I’m standing in the kitchen with a tragic, dark-haired, green-eyed beauty gazing up at me and wailing his heart out.
Sarcasm doesn’t work on cats, but I still do it.

Fanart submitted by anon, looks more like Armand than that dude from Queen of the Damned!
Also I kind of want to share this from a PM conversation I had and something I shared on the phone with monsieur-le-rockstar last night:
I agree, yeah, Marius did a lot of dumb shit to try to prove he could give something to Armand, that he had something to offer when really time and distance grew them apart. Marius was his first loves, not last one you know? And ugh. Well, I mostly believe Marius isn’t blameless in the way he instilled in Armand how to think love is to be treated. People forget that yes while Marius rescued him from the brothel, there is also the point that Armand was probably raped on the way there and defiled and beaten to amnesia. And when someone he thought to be his savior, who he welcomed so willingly to save him, took him home…This same savior taught him a “carnal” type of love. I mean he pleasured a very traumatized rape victim who had also come from a background beforehand where he had literally been taught to not even KNOW how his dingly functioned. It’s just…he went about it the entirely wrong way and continued it. You can see evidence in TVL when Armand bites Lestat after sharing blood with him and Lestat interprets it as a rape (which it is) and pummels him. Because that was all Armand was taught to know, and probably was not taught much differently under the oppression of the children of darkness who were just as blind to propriety and how to handle these things in a modern age. I think at that moment he wanted to draw Lestat in as a companion, a lover. He just kind of fucked up in consent department(seriously Lestat had NO clue how vampires loved like that back then). Personally, I think by now Armand is coming to terms with thoughts like these with ALL his relationships and happenings in the past .
(I don’t want to cheapen this wonderful commentary in any way but it did remind me of this sweet little fanart so here it is:)

A bit of fun with the Game of Thrones sigil generator. Tried to do one for Louis, but his name is too long.
What was your idea for Monsieur de Pointe du Lac? Maybe I will make it… *u*
Damn name was too long!

great now I’m picturing Lestat that cries his heart out after Babe’s finale while Louis just shakes his head at him but sobbing inside

#How to make a post a VC post
Some people have a problem with sexuality in the VC. As in, that the vampires can’t have sex. I think that’s totally wrong. It all depends on your definition of sex.
That’s what we have fanon/fanfic/fanart/etc. for!

30 Day Vampire Chronicles Challenge
Day 10: Favorite non-vampire character
Paul de Pointe du Lac
(Honestly I had a hard time even THINKING of a character who wasn’t a vampire, and then an even harder time trying to think of one I liked. I haven’t read any of the books that cross over with the witches. I would have picked David, but then he gets turned anyways. So I choose Louis’ brother. True we don’t see much of him, but the loving way Louis describes him in makes me like him anyways. And he reminds me Armand and Nicki, my two absolute favorites.)

Oh, what a title to bear!? But I made a thing for you, anon.
Here’s the pretty scene what took a place in Palais Royal (from The Vampire Lestat, part V: The Vampire Armand), first thing what came up to my mind since I couldn’t think about anything original.
I love those two idiots.
I had tears in my eyes when I reread that part after a long time oh my god
