Hello again Lestat and Louis, and any other vampires around. I am curious about the relationships between you all. Is your coven (don’t know if that’s the right word) polygamous, or is it a friends with benefits type deal? Also Louis, what was your reaction to Lestat’s tattoo?

I would say weāre moreĀ polyamorous than polygamous. Our idea of fidelity is different than for mortals. Or my own idea of fidelity is different than others in the coven.
One could call us a coven, with smaller, fluid groupings within it. Tribe. Collective. Coven. Iāve always found the wordĀ ācovenā as more applicable to those who perform rituals and religious rites together, which we do, occasionally, but not in any kind of Sunday School regularity. We donāt crawl around in filth under a cemetery and worship Satan, thatās for sure.Ā

@takemetocoffin-or-losemeforeverā, my French resource, informs me Lestat might have hadĀ tourte aux pommes de terre, which is Auvergne potato pie. It tastes like potatoes and cream, mostly. There might be other pizza-adjacent foods he might have had.Ā

Hey, are you familiar with the actor Freddie Fox? Since I saw him in the Cucumber & Banana tv show I thought he could be a great Lestat, and he still looks young enough

I’ve been going through certain tags for certain reasons and I feel compelled to share that I love how the ‘porn for Louis’ tag is all, like, flowers and fires and flowers on fire and shit like that while the ‘porn for Lestat’ tag is actual porn and that really summarizes everything I love about the contrast between these two gloriously gay vampire bbs. Like, yes, opposites really do attract, and Anne damn well knows it. XD

Louis does get stimulated by fire, and unusual or gorgeous things in nature, just the immersive quality of those things. When he looks at these things, heās mesmerized by the interplay of colors and shapes, the movement even in a still painting or photograph, itās an immersive experience for him. So Iām very picky about what I put in that tag, only things that I feel like he would want to watch for a good long while as if he could enter the work itself, bodyless, just mentally engaging with the composition. Thatās very stimulating for him.Ā
In my mind, Lestatās porn is usually more related to fashion, Iām thinking of it as like, adjacent to his need for retail therapy. The idea of wearing something and what it projects out to the world about you, the tactile nature of wearing it and being touched whilst wearing it, the interplay of the lighting, space, and environment in which you wear the thing. Dazzling a crowd of people without needing to say a word. The storyteller/actor/sensualist in him loves the idea of drenching oneself in shimmering dream skins, so itās another type of immersive experience.Ā
^Now Iāve sort of convinced myself that their porn, altho dissimilar on the surface, actually sort of brings them to a similar state of mind. Something immersive, some level of deeper appreciation for nature/art. Some level of changing reality, and for creatures that cannot themselves change, maybe thatās what is stimulating.Ā
Being turned into a vampire is an act of metamorphosis, itās the greatest intimacy they can experience. I would think that things that remind of them of transformation and complete immersion like that would be stimulating in what we might consider a sexual way.Ā
Lestat would probably also love watching the sillier porn tropes like the pizza delivery guy thing, but more bc of the comedy than it being sexually stimulating. Probably also likes to watch vintage or vampiry ones with Daniel and/or Armand, like Intercourse with the Vampire, theyāre all rolling on the couch, giggling at it like 7 yr olds.
Although, Lestat can also be somewhat deviant and cruel, to his loved ones but usually to his victims, so I would imagine he has trawled the internet and video stores forā¦ more legit porn to watch alone. Even so, I would hope that he wouldnāt be into any really gross kinks, nothing really degrading to anyone involved. But I canāt say for sure bc he is highly Problematic :[
