Armand and Nicolas de Lenfent. These are just scribbles so please ignore glaring errors and sloppy work. I haven’t been drawing much for myself lately so I rushed to crank these out in the midst of work I can’t post here yet, heheh.
This is certainly during their theater days, perhaps Armand has been keeping a close eye on the public opinion of Nicki’s plays and is in the process of appreciating Nicki’s abilities.

This was an extremely fun and challenging piece, took a LONG TIME but it was worth the effort.

“Which means now I’m imagining hair dying parties with other vampires cause they can’t see what they’re doing in the mirror. ” wasn’t that whole no reflection thing because they used to use silver for mirrors? they stopped doing that at some point so then vamps should be able to see themselves, right?
Yes, if you buy this post right here, (which I do, and I’m also going to rebagel it bc why haven’t I yet? Maybe it’s buried in the queue…), in which @gojiro informs us that:
“…mirrors used to be backed with a reflective layer of silver — which, as the metal of purity, would not ‘interact’ with Vampires, who are the Devil’s work. However, modern mirrors have used aluminum as their reflective backing for many years now — and aluminum is not a ‘picky’ metal at all…”
So yes you may headcanon Armand as winning the Ugly Sweater Contest by standing in front of Lestat w/ a mirror as shown above by @superhiki!
…but I also really like the “hair dying parties with other vampires cause they can’t see what they’re doing in the mirror.” which still works for the vampires of What We Do in the Shadows, who live in the modern era, and can’t see their reflection in mirrors (but they can see it in photographs, IDK I JUST REALLY LIKE THE DYE PARTY IDEA so as Tim Gunn would say, “Make it work.”)
The VC chat requested Louis in my interview outfit from the other day- It was a successful interview so I drew the look! Red cap, ugly sweater, felt bag, corduroy pants, cowboy boots, and a heart shaped locket.

I was tagged by @madshelley to list 5 things that make me happy!
1. Finishing a costume and feeling transformed by it. I love showing someone a photo of a costume and their first reaction being ‘That’s you!?’
2. Having a long one-on-one talk with somebody. The key point is I enjoy hearing about someone’s day and them knowing I’m there to listen and that they want me to know. I feel important in their life.
3. Singing in the car. It’s hard not to be happy singing along to something even if you’re bad at singing like I am.
4. Seeing my friends succeed. I’m not an envious person at all and feel extremely lucky in life. When I can support someone who’s trying their hardest I do- and to see them reach the stars is almost without compare. I believe people can do anything they set their heart on if they keep determined, to support that grit is one of those things I feel very lucky to do. Aka: I’ll read your cover letters, look at your portfolios, be a references, and connect you to people if you ever, ever need it.
5. Moments of existential hysterical bliss. Being up at 4 am alone in a parking lot in the middle of winter, dancing in the snow and thinking how wonderful life still is despite the odds. When I think of how good my life is, one happy aspect after the other, I get very worked up and can’t help but jump for joy even during the worst times in my life.
