Idk about your friends not understanding the allure of the VC fandom. Some ppl write off all vampire media these days bc we’re so saturated with it. Some ppl write off the movie bc Tom Cruise is in it, or the problematic elements in the books are too problematic for them… there are alot of reasons ppl are resistant to VC and I don’t blame them, the series is not for everyone. Oprah walked out of movie!IWTV (after 15 min I think?)!

Anyway notes like this one mean SO MUCH to me. I’m not planning on inventing anything, proving myself in some kind of athletic competition, winning any awards, or leaving my mark in some other more societally-approved way. 

If I can just share the love for this one pile of dysfunctional vampires w/ other like-minded ppl, and encourage the fanworks to keep the fandom alive, I’m perfectly fine with that. THIS IS MY LEGACY.

OMG this is hands down my favorite part of the movie cause they actually act like they like each other for once without Louis being all melancholic and stuff. It’s like he forgot that he’s supposed to tell Daniel how much he hated Lestat and just goes into full-blown mommy/lover mode. Me loves this!

Lestat, who’s a better dancer you or Louis?

♛Obviously I am. He’s just so stuffy about it! Needs to learn how to loosen up. I’m grateful that he IS willing to learn and can take an enormous amount of criticism so there’s a chance we’ll be able to dance at our

alleged forthcoming nuptials.

Lestat sounds like the kind of guy to become a Jerry Springer fan and contemplate inviting Louis and himself to the show. Maybe get Armand dragged in as well [We all know Lestat makes the most reasonable and thought-out decisions ever. Really].

Not sure about Armand’s willingness to be dragged into that circus, but this would be especially useful re: all the fledglings Lestat’s accused of making on a regular basis…

Lestat: “SEEEEE? I can, in fact, keep my wrists in their sleeves on occasion. REALLY.”

Louis: “So it would seem, on this occasion.”

Lestat: “You’re not going to drag me back on this show next week with a new batch of accusations, are you?”

Louis: “Are you going to give me reason to do so?”

Lestat: “No, of course not! Maybe. Probably. BTW Did I tell you about this new musician I met? He is amazing…“

Louis: *sighs*

Lestat and his son would both have an IG, and would get really annoyed when ppl confuse them (since they look so similar). Lestat maintains that his Insta is much classier with much better fashion, whereas Viktor’s in his greasy, sorta drug addict, grunge posing stage.

I don’t do IG, but Ton Heukels is chosen now and then as a Lestat RP face claim.
