Not a lot on a daily basis, but if you think he leaves the house without moisturizer, eyeliner and maybe lipgloss ever you’re sadly mistaken.
If the house was on fire he’d probably stop by a mirror to make sure he looked alright.
A little Bio-Silk to tame the frizz and keep the curls down to a dull roar from that dreadful New Orleans humidity.

Lestat here. Last night, through this FB page, I received this question from Davetta L. Wilson. “If you could have one companion for all eternity, who would you choose? Well, Davetta, I will never face such a choice, obviously, but if I did have to choose, the companion would be Louis. My longest most enduring friendship and love affair in this world was with Louis. And though his limitations can be maddening, they can also be as inspiring to me as his virtues. Of course it might seem that Marius would be a wiser choice. After all, Marius is 2000 years old, and entered eternity with the mind of a brilliant Roman philosopher. But the best choices we make are not always the wise choices. Sometimes they are intensely emotional choices. And I’ve always had a deep Romantic respect for emotion. My love for Louis transcends wisdom. And I may need the pain as much as the consolation that an eternal relationship with Louis would involve. Thank you, Davetta, for your question. Lestat signing off.

ok but ask yourself this about your otp
- which one hogs the blanket
- which one cuts the other’s hair
- which one makes coffee for the other every morning
- which one picks up the pizza
- which one likes their music on full volume
- which one complains about the crumbs on the bed
- which one is ticklish
- which one sings and which one plays the music
- which one proposes
-Louis hogs the blankets.
-Lestat prefers Louis’s hair long but he does like to brush it.
-Lestat makes coffee because they both like the scent.
-No pizza.
-Lestat, of course.
-No Crumbs.
-Louis says “Ticklishness is a sign of unresolved sexual tension” as he tickles Lestat.
-Lestat does both, though Louis will sing when the mood strikes him.
-Neither; marriage is a human contract; their bond is what’s important to them.

Additionally: Coffee preference is for French varieties, sometimes they bring imported Parisienne or Cafe du Monde coffee on trips to feel more at home outside of NOLA.
In bed, most of the time Lestat is the big spoon, but also loves being the little spoon when Louis initiates it. Occasionally, especially on very hot nights when they kick the sheets away, they end up falling asleep in strange positions with limbs flopped over torsos, like Adam & Eve in OLLA.
At first I thought “Hmm.Gabrielle?” Then I thought — “No… femme Lestat!” Because look at the DRAMA of that ascension!
