Does any one else think of the vampire chronicles characters, or any of their favorite characters, perhaps their own, when they are facing something daunting or extremely stressful? Kind of like a fantasy or a daydream, it just keeps you calm so you can get through the moment. If so, can you share some of those instances? I’m just curious if I’m the only one. Sometimes it feels like I am.
Definitely for me! There are times when I imagine certain characters just walking beside me on my way home from a rough day, offering advice or being quietly supportive, maybe giving reassurance telepathically or just by being present, like any close friend can give.
They let me set the pace, and their presence wards off anyone from messing with me, bc they can intimidate with a glare, or just by having that essence of danger they all carry 😉
(I also like to imagine Lestat promising me a night of retail therapy the next time he’s in town!)

If you participated last year, or participated in any of the other exchanges we hosted after, you should be familiar with how this works. Think Secret Santa, but with no sharing of physical addresses. The gifts given are all shared completely on Tumblr, be it drabbles, fanart, awesome graphics, or what have you. Marius and Daniel Molloy content- Inspired by many fun conversations. I suppose there is an order to this- Marius gets onto Daniel for being messy with his constant crafting, forces him to take a damn bath, and then gifts him a rather expensive model locomotive. I think in his phases of vampiric madness he rarely talks except when he’s got a really good quip. Marius sees him being especially bent out of shape and pulled into his crafts and decides to remind the fledgling of his fledgling that he cares.
