I was tagged for VC fandom selfies (thanks @xlilvamp and @just-another-vcblog

💖💖💖) and was super flattered! Selfies are haaard bc IDK ~Beauty Standards~ and all, so you get a dump of them and probably no more for a long long time:

(1) overly brightened version of me wearing my hoodie up a la Children of Satan style, 
(2) bathroom selfie bc y’know (btw I made that necklace I’m wearing in top right), 
(3) a TINY smile, bc St. Patrick’s cathedral is in the bg and classing things up,
(4) blue-filtered nonsense in front of another church to look like a frame from an indie movie about whether or not the Manic Pixie Dream girl will accept Loser Dude and the church message is encouraging a yes? IDK.
(5) Felt like posing with this model showing her my hand modeling game is better than hers so there,
(6) Got a pic with Gaspard Ulliel and NO the fact that he’s 5 times bigger than me won’t be a problem for us we are in LOVE.
(7) #45 in fact is a neighbor of mine, not next door thank goodness, but a walkable number of avenue blocks away OH WELL.

Bonus:

Yes that is 100% real plastic diamond I’m wearing.

I’ve been trying to find pictures for fan art purposes, but can’t seem to locate them! (And also, I wish you good health and happiness!)

What an obscure question! I’m impressed. We see this silvery-black robe for like 20 seconds when he’s confronting Louis’ narration, “How did you wrong him? You said a name…”  

That WAS a gorgeous silvery black robe, indeed. I’m guessing it was crushed velvet, you can see in the production stills below that it’s got “tracks” cut into it, so idk what fabric would do that, but it doesn’t look like a print to me.

@vinceaddams and @sanguinivora are costume ppl, they might know better what this is… I bet there were more scenes with Santiago in that robe, too, the full “trial” for Louis and Claudia under the theatre! but they were probably cut for time.

I also took a screenshot for you, and even though I tried to brighten it up, as it was a pretty dark scene, I don’t have the BluRay, it’s not the best quality 😛 Maybe someone has a better screencap.

The way you bring up and solve issues through questions and in general – is really inspiring! Thank you! :D :D

Not a bother at all, I’m so sorry this message sat in my inbox so long. *facepalm* Sometimes I hoard the nice messages, more than a little too long.

“Burnadette”? Thank you! It’s not my ACTUAL name, but it’s the name I prefer for my fandom life… I was brought up in a time when the internet was new, and we were taught not to reveal much about yourself for safety concerns, and I still feel that way. 

“Burnadette” is based on the song “Bernadette” by the Four Tops. I changed the spelling to include the word “Burn,” which is a Louis reference, his pyromania, back when I chose the name I was still making fun of him for that. This many years later, I don’t do that as much anymore, you might say I burned out on that. pfffft.

It’s a very upbeat song, but if you listen to the lyrics closely the singer is basically a guy who has to have ALL OF this poor lady bc apparently she’s already so much a part of him that he needs her more than just out of love, and smacks down the competition as unworthy. It’s pretty obsessive.

My parents and I loved Motown when I was younger, we’d often sing along to this song in the car, so it has a nostalgic feel for me. At that time, I just thought it was a guy who couldn’t help but express himself as to how madly in love he was. Obsession and madly in love, unhealthy relationships… very VC.
