Burnadette is a slight variation of Bernadette, French name meaning āBrave as a bear.ā I changed it to get the fire reference ;] So Louisā sister would have spelled it the normal way.
ā¦ I wonāt deny it looks good. āBernadette, Louis, and Paulā sound like they could be siblings š BTW, thatās the Jane Austen font from DaFont.
But I wouldnāt want anyone to feel left out in the sense that Iām *special* or anything, Iām glad that some names were left out of canon, so anyone can project their own names onto those characters.

The name is also featured inĀ this song, which is very upbeat butĀ if you listen to the lyrics closely the singer is basically a guy who has to have ALL OF this poor lady bc apparently sheās already so much a part of him that he needs her more than just out of love, and smacks down the competition as unworthy.Ā Itās pretty obsessive.
I liked it when I was a kid, so it has a nostalgic feel for me, and at that time, I just thought it was a guy who couldnāt help but express himself as to how madly in love he was. Obsession and madly in love, unhealthy relationshipsā¦ very VC.

Ā This time of year is stressful and busy for everyone, so we definitely understand. Ā And itās no big deal if youāre a few days late, though if you can have your gifts to us sometime today, that would be super.
This exchange has been stellar. Ā The mods have brainstormed a few ways to make future exchanges even better. Ā These events are a constant learning experience for us, especially as participation grows. Ā As we did last year, Iām thinking we will do a Secret Valentine in February, as our mini-exchange following this one.

Ā I (merciful-death) have had a lot more on my plate this year than I did last year, so her help has been so much appreciated. Ā The reason we do this is so everything can be neatly organized on the page and wonāt require anyone to go searching through 30+ blogs to find all the gifts. Ā It also makes it so the posts are spread out throughout the day, rather than having everyone posting at midnight.
