Lestat: Evil is a point of view.
Evil: Lestat is a point of view.
there are exactly two highlights in Blood & Gold
1. the glimpse of Armand ruling his coven which basically boils down to “either you guys shape up or I swear I will replace you all”
2. Santino, after years of devotion and religious fanaticism, meeting Pandora and instantly going “Satan who?? don’t know her”
3. Marius and Avicus playing Mael Tetris
Yes to all 3! and hey it’s all fun and games until someone gets decapitated.

Lestat is literally one of those wildlife hunters who post pictures of themselves with their trophy kills on Facebook tho sorry but
“This is the coat I had made from my wolf kills in the 18th century”
“and this is Louis.”
Louis: *sees stranger doing something stupid*
Louis: what an idiot
Louis: *realizes it’s Lestat*
Louis: wait that’s my idiot *sighs*

Take this out of context, and you get a sitcom about a laughably inept gay vampire couple and their passive-aggressive adopted daughter.
Was that not the movie? Cuz that was totally what I got.
That was totally the movie I watched.
Yup, sounds accurate.
In context, out of context, it works both ways.
This is just every day interaction between the StuntWife and myself.
I feel compelled to point out that I am obviously Lestat in these interactions, because YOU DON’T TRUST ME WITH OPEN FLAME.
I keep waiting for a gay vampire movie but then i remember Interview with a Vampire happened and literally it cannot get any more homoerotic camp than Brad Pitt being all “omfg I’m reborn as a denizen of hell” while Tom Cruise basically serenades him with the music of the night
