I love this! Both versions look like they could be illustrations to an article about the movie/series. That moody palette, with the gold and the almost burnt red color, that pop of brightness of his lips, the shadows under his eyes speaking of an exhaustion beyond mortal capabilities, that laser-like quality of his eyes.
