WITH THE VAMPIRE. (Warner Bros., 1994) This is the original 3-piece Victorian-style “natural form” bustle
gown created for the movie. Consisting of (1) blue satin, paneled
bodice piece with ornamental black velvet applique’ and meticulous
black beading, hook and loop back closure (1) multi-layered bustle
skirt, giving the illusion of richly layered skirts and petticoats, with
patterned silk fabric, black bead edging detail, pleated ruffles at the
hem and billowing satin bustle. Marked “Kirsten” on bias label, with
snaps and hook and loop back closure, and, (1) voluminous ruched
bustle train, currently pinned, but needing permanent reattachment in
the back. This beautiful, period hero costume shows some mild sport
fading and production wear and soil (dried mud on back skirt hem),
but remains in good condition, having been carefully archived by the
studio. Accompanied with an original Warner Bros. Studios Certificate
of Authenticity. $3,000 – $5,000

[X] ^Also on this VC casting note, some ppl have suggested Paul Boche as Lestat and I have resisted it, but seeing him w/ Miles McMillan here, it’s very Louis & Lestat, oui?They look like they have really good chemistry and that matters more to me than looks alone w/ acting *u*
Do you think Sebastian Stan could play a convincing Louis? Speaking for purely acting capabilities.
Y’know, I’ve seen him in the MCU movies and not a lot else, so when I googled him I was pleasantly surprised to find the gifs below.
But before we get to Stan, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so if he works for you, that’s totes fine!
For meeeee, however… I’m not sure about him playing Louis bc my heart is pretty set on someone I would consider more sinewy, like Miles McMillan (BTW he paints, sometimes does amazing self-portraits! Check out @fuckyeahmilesmcmillan, there are nude pics of him there, too *u*), someone w/ a more narrow face shape w/ these defined cheekbones that are almost feminine:
^Lestat forced him to replace his decaying sweater w/ a jacket to go out but couldn’t get him to put on a t-shirt first.
Whoever they cast as Louis should bear some resemblance to whoever they cast as Nicolas, bc they are described as being similar in appearance (and attitude to some extent!), but I would imagine Louis as being slimmer and more delicate-looking, since he was in pretty bad physical shape when Lestat found him, a combination of malnourishment and excessive alcohol and picking fights w/ whoever would fight him ;A;
^Plus, his sass is a more gentlemanly brand, he has a dignified way of shooting Lestat down.
Stan is built more sturdy, his facial structure is a little wider, seems more like Nicolas in my mind. And I think he’s played non-straight characters before so I think he’d be willing to do that here, too ^_______^
Difficulty: I bet he is SO FRICKIN EXPENSIVE NOW like damn! ANYWAY LETS FANTASIZE…

Y’know, @lixncourt‘s been on here at least a year but I actually only just found out about them recently myself, mun and muse seem nice enough to me! There’s a lot of RP and a lot of muns
out there, I’d like to get to know more of them better.
So that mun loves my blog, and they use Tom Cruise as a faceclaim and I am of course biased towards liking him so hopefully they’re into the VC spirit in a similar way that I am; VC positivity, inclusiveness, and poking fun at our fave dysfunctional vampires in a respectful sorta way.

If you’re looking for a Lestat to RP with there are a pile of them out there at any given time, but whether they’re active or welcome new RP partners is up to each one individually. Most Lestats are happy to respond to Asks tho!
