I love you and you’re my family, but you’re terrible. You’re all terrible.

OOC; MANY HAPPY RETURNS OF THE DAY!

devilsfool:

//Guys it is @i-want-my-iwtv‘s birthday today, so please go spam the heck out of her with wonderful messages!

This chica is wild, crazy, and maybe the biggest cheerleader we have in the VC fandom. There is no one more kind, considerate, or caring. She has loved each of us and pushed each of us over time to be better writers and kinder people.

Also, she is a tiny smol cinnamon roll and we’ve hung out and had burgers together and it was silly and good. So please go love on her.

MANY HAPPY RETURNS OF THE DAY, DARLING! We love you!

THANK U BB! It’s all true! Guilty as charged! The feels, they are mutual *hugs*

If I may, @devilsfool is one heck of a friend, in addition to being one of my fave VC writers.

Many of my VC headcanons have been formed in conversation with her or just accepted from her fanfic/RP, so if you like my headcanons/opinions on things, check out her muses: @a-misunderstanding-my-love (Nicolas), @viaticumforthemarquise (Gabrielle), and @devilsfool (Lestat).

Happy happy birthday!

Merci beaucoup Auntie Jillian!

I started following you here on tumblr a few years ago because I enjoyed what you reblogged, but what’s kept me following are your replies to asks, so kind and thoughtful, it’s clear that your advice comes from a lifetime of experience, a sense of dignity, and a generous disposition.

I didn’t have an Auntie Jillian when I was a baby bat, and I’m so glad that I can recommend today’s baby bats and elder bats and everyone in between to you, the Lady of the Manners, as a resource for all things goth: music, fashion, manners, culture, etc. *u*

Happy birthday, I hope you have a great one <3

Thank u!

…Omg your blog’s caption… applies to me and several others of us, I’m sure, also… “I’ve spent my life obsessed with The Vampire Chronicles and in love with Percy Shelley and I’m not about to stop now. Occasionally other things.”

^Except for the Percy Shelley part. I wish I loved poetry in general more. Maybe that’ll be another thing I work on this year, embracing poetry and finding the pleasure in it that poetry lovers do! I’ll have to start with him. Do you recommend any of his specific works for a poetry beginner?
