^Oh wow, this may actually be the source of many ppl’s headcanon on this! We can’t expect you to disagree w/ a translator but for them to define it that way would certainly influence your headcanon…
BUT I just CANNOT ACCEPT THE IDEA that they are all walking around w/ permanent boners, as Louis would say: “I can’t. Or more truly, I will not.”
I just feel like it would have gotten alot more canon support if that were really the case. It’s referred to as being like the rest of their flesh, which is usually just compared to marble.

We don’t really know much about mortal!Louis’ sex life… in the movie he had been married, and the wife had died in childbirth, one would hope that was his kid, and then he was hanging around w/ whores when he was trying to get himself killed, but he barely even acknowledges that one whore’s presence, even though he has his arm around her to stabilize himself. My general impression of Louis is that of all the vampires, he’s one of the least sexually-motivated.
In IWTV, Louis tells Claudia re: sex: “ ‘It was something hurried,’ I said, trying now to meet her eyes. How perfectly, coldly blue they were. How earnest. ‘And… it was seldom savored… something acute that was quickly lost. I think that it was the pale shadow of killing.’ ”
We don’t know if he just said that to be make her feel better about the fact that she’ll never experience it but Louis usually tells the truth.
I don’t think Louis would have had sex w/ Merrick.

So would Merrick and Louis have had sex? If Merrick wanted it she probably could have voodoo’d him into it, she voodoo’d him into breaking his moral principle to never make another vampire. Without bewitching him, I’d say no.

The only writer that immediately comes to mind is our very own fandom treasure @gairid, who has a Through the 4th Wall, Darkly series which does something in the vein (pun intended hehehe) of what you’re looking for, feels meta. It’s mostly the characters discussing Lestat’s ghostwriter: “Really, Lestat, you need to have a talk with her. It’s getting out of hand. What sort of biographer makes everything up without the slightest regard to the truth?”*giggles*

There is another current writer I know of who does more of what you’re looking for on a regular basis BUT she doesn’t post publicly ;A; I will try to nudge her onto AO3 in your honor ;] To be honest, the interaction of the VC characters w/ fanfic of themselves is usually described as their being amused and/or creeped out, as most ppl who find out about RPF of themselves seem to be.
Lestat would be hella flattered and in fact…. he has written really shmoopy fluff of himself and Louis, which he has not-so-subtly tried to get Louis to read. Louis reads it and makes grammatical corrections and hands it back. Secretly, he’s very touched.
Louis loves the fanart but is mildly creeped out by the fandom’s fanfic of himself, partly bc he thinks the writers spend too much time glorifying his appearance, and/or he’s written out of character.
Louis: “Why do they all think I’m sunk in this, this deep depression all the time? I… do things… I go out.”
Lestat: “How much of the evening do you spend outside if I don’t drag you out?”
Louis: “Well, I have to go out to feed.”
Lestat: “And that takes, what, 30 or 40 minutes?”
Louis: “Yes, about.”
Lestat: “So you go out, on average, 35 minutes a night.”
Louis: “Depression is not defined by the lack of amount of time spent outside!”
Marius appreciates Louis for his human tenderness, his empathy, and Louis comes to Marius for paternal support. When they play strategy games like cards or chess, they’re among the best-matched opponents in the coven. Pandora’s at their level, too. All three have excellent poker faces.
Marius finds Louis aesthetically appealing but doesn’t have any romantic intentions towards him, but even so, he can’t help but be curious about “upgrading” Louis. For how it might enhance Louis, but also possibly bc the act itself, the intimacy involved, is kind of tantalizing to think about ;]

Louis – @merciful-death’s Louis has a black cat named Harriet (#headcanon accepted!). She leaves him dead mice often, and according to Lestat (@devilsfool): “She hunts them to try to feed you. She’s convinced that you are a terrible hunter.”
I also see Louis as being visited frequently by a big stray tomcat, and Lestat doesn’t approve of this one either bc MORE CAT HAIR ON VELVET FURNITURE. Velvet is very cat-hair-ophillic. This cat doesn’t have a name but Louis calls him by a lot of baby names (”Mon chou,” “Sir Fluff,” “Kitten,”) and Lestat calls him by a lot of rude names (”Hairball,” “Trashface,” “Loaf”). This cat actually followed Harriet to their home one night, and he likes to nap with her when she allows it.
Lestat – I know you didn’t ask about Lestat but I have to include him a little more! According to @annabellioncourt, “Lestat was also a canon dog person, and while there are people who love both (hi) I think with Lestat’s constant need for validation he’d be a total dog person.
Like no cats at all.
He hissed back at Louis’s cat once.
Lestat almost always has a dog, and he has meticulous memory of all the dogs he ever had.“

Daniel – Lizards! Frogs! Snakes! Reptiles in general. Also insects. He has a big pinned collection, featuring gorgeous butterflies and buprestidae. Lestat loves this collection and goes to reptile houses with Daniel on occasion. They both love cobras.
Armand – I can’t find the canon evidence but I’m pretty sure he had big fancy aquariums on Night Island.
[X] Armand is truly fascinated with owls, owls are totes his spirit animal, deceptively powerful in their small size. Their symbolism for intelligence and careful planning. And y’know, they’re basically "flying pillows filled with seething hatred.” like Armand!

Marius had taxidermied animals:“giant stuffed beasts mounted in lifelike attitudes – the brown bear, the lion, the tiger, even the elephant standing in his own immense chamber, lizards as big as dragons, birds of prey clutching dried branches made to look like the limbs of real trees.” -TVL

Claudia loved birds, especially small ones. She likes songbirds especially. She also loved rabbits but more for their fur than their personality.
(1) Lestat has a Flareon [X] named Louis. He feeds it a lot of Pokémon candy and occasionally uses it to beat Armand’s gyms just so he can rub it in his face.

(2) Armand has a Pokémon named after Lestat; it’s a Magikarp [X].
^This offends Lestat. Lestat is offended. Armand explained it thusly: “Well it’s the only pokemon with a mouth as proportionately large to its body as yours is-”
(1) HC that Armand actually fell in love with his starter, but got frustrated with how low level it was. he went out to look for other of the pokemon, but ended up being to attached to the original that he spent an entire week focusing on just that pokemon in particular and now its super overpowered compared to everything else he has.

(2) Hc that Louis actually really likes caterpie but is embarrassed about it. He thinks they are the cutest thing ever, and they are the main reason he wont let Lestat look at his phone.
Yes definitely! Louis likes several grass and water types, and he loves collecting fanart of them. The whole coven would tease him if they knew about it bc he should only like FIRE types right???

(2) Louis Could Not Care Less; Marius gets annoyed by it,
^Marius is probably annoyed by it bc it creates a lot of stopping in public walkways, and occasionally Old-Man-Shouting-at-Cloud Marius a little bit agrees w/ the “It’s terrible, the kids these days staring at their cellphones!” argument. #headcanon accepted.
(3) Lestat takes ENDLESS selfies of himself with various Pokemon, and for the first month or two, cheats by using vampire abilities to run to all the pokestops and be master of multiple gyms.
^OH THAT SNEAKY BASTARD. But I think he’d let the younger kids beat him in battles, and act all dramatic about it. “How could you do this so easily?? I am crushed! I will cry myself to sleep tonight!”
(4) Daniel occasionally forgets how unhuman he looks and accidentally scares kids sometimes. And adults.

^Yours truly, Mater Fabuloso, unintentionally caught a pidgey by hand! Discussing the new Pokemon Go w/ @riverofwhispers, the following headcanons arose:
All these ppl up in the middle of the night going after imaginary pocket monsters… the coven finds it really sweet, that little kids and teens and adults can all do this positive thing together. Lestat watches for the potential threats tho, adults trying to lure a kid away from their family/friends. He won’t let that happen.
But also, Lestat wanted to try to play and Armand installed the app, he did it in such a way that Lestat could only catch one type and Lestat was getting all frustrated about it but then he figured it out and started getting into it.
TEAM PIDGEY!!
Lestat is all about pidgey. Lestat’s pidgey team kicks any of Armand’s collection.
