“It was Daniel who had languished for many a year—shocked, deranged, lost, unable to care for himself—in Marius’s care…  |  Marius loved Daniel. He had salvaged Daniel from the aftermath of that storm, and never for one moment regretted it. Marius knew that Daniel had also salvaged him from the same chaos..”  – From “Prince Lestat”

wha-? Is that canon or fanon? Lol!

Omg, listening to it now, it’s so cliche! pfffft. Lestat would love it.

It reminds me of this terrible and hilarious mashup, War of the Worlds set to the Benny Hill theme music. Watch if you DARE.

It’s Armand and it’s actually canon and one of my favorite parts to visualize in QotD (although it’s honky-tonk not ragtime, but their styles are related)
I mean, just imagine Daniel waking up to that, looking completely DONE.

Wiki says it’s a “musical genre that enjoyed its peak popularity between 1895 and 1918,″ not sure if Lestat was underground then, convalescing. He did catch up on things when he pulled himself together in TVL.

If it was Armand who likes it, it seems like a guilty pleasure Armand might not want publicly known about himself! It’s not too far #ooc for Armand to like it, really, he does have theatre experience. Under Musical Director de Lenfent’s direction, the TdV probably performed dark comedy that had similarly jaunty music. And murder.

Heeeeelp… Meeee!! My fandoms are killing me, they stole my soul :( give me some vc love to me… Please!!! <3

IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT???

(How are your fandoms killing you?? How did they steal your soul?? Did you not offer it up willingly?!)

TBH, idk how to really transfer fandom love, it’s an intangible thing, its more of an internal feel you feel, when u participate in meta discussions, and squee, and compliment fanartists and fanfic authors, so to generate it, simply do those things! Sending a message to me certainly counts *u*

Gone By Morning // And when darkness settled over Paris once more, they would remark at her ashes in the dust and the pain in his soul. A mix for the end of Louis
and Claudia’s love.  You can listen to it here.

Tagged by annabellioncourt for my Top 15 Albums

…this is so hard because I love alot of individual songs and one-hit wonders, usually not whole albums, and I’ll leave out movie soundtracks bc that would be its own list, but, YOU FORCE ME TO BRAIN ON IT. when I read IWTV I freaked tf cause a little while after I was listening to New Orleans by Stevie Nicks and I had this amazing revelation because two things I love became connected!
but seriously:

‘I wanna brush by Anne Rice’
‘I wanna brush by the vampires’

I completely lost it when I connected to dots! Two of my favourite things came together.

OMG I didn’t know about this song! it’s *~beautiful~*

btw… cloudsinvenice would probably want this mentioned: Sting did “Moon Over Bourbon St,” inspired by book!IWTV ;]

‘I have stood many times outside her window at night
To struggle with my instinct in the pale moonlight
How could I be this way when I pray to god above
I must love what I destroy and destroy the thing I love’
