Ahhhh I love your blogggggg! I’ve been in stitches going through your memey-things tag. XD I’ve only recently read up through Tale of the Body Thief, but I’ve been a big fan of Interview With the Vampire in particular for years. It’s kind of an older one, but I thought I’d share a piece of my art with you. Hope you enjoy it!

AsdFGhulds!!1 I love it when this happens. I’VE SEEN YOUR FANART BEFORE, you should know that YOU, yes you, are partially responsible for inspiring this tumblr. 

Ok well FIRST OF ALL – I had seen that fanart before – at least 1 year ago – on DA before I even started this tumblr and I still think it’s hilarious, and I had already posted it here (not knowing you had a tumblr)!! It also inspired one of my early memeythings ❤ 

That one and a few other VC Rage Comics are here, tagged #vc rage. I made a few of ‘em too ;]

Secondly, you love my blog & my memeythings awwww: that’s the reaction I go for! Much appreciate, much flattered.

Clearly I am also a fan of IWTV. 

TL;DR: Please make more fanart/vc rage/etc., if you are so inspired bc I am a fan of YOU.

What did happen:

Louis ignored Armand.

They looked at art.

Funny things: I think they looked at “Demon’s Head” by (amazing symbolist painter) Mikhail Vrubel (painted about 1890). 

“…Vrubel started painting sketches and watercolours illustrating the Demon, a long Romantic poem by Mikhail Lermontov. The poem described the carnal passion of “an eternal nihilistic spirit” for a Georgian girl Tamara. “, says wikipedia. 

The painting is nowadays in the collection of The Museum of Russian Art in Kiev, Ukraine. But maybe it was on loan in Louvre? Or maybe they travelled to see Armand’s childhood home country. ; ) Anyway it makes a great addition to the Interview with the Vampire Drinking Game. DRink FoR ranDOM vRUbel!

Yep! Great catch! It’s not identical but it’s very close (painting from the movie below).

T is a lovesong, and it happens that I adore Lovesong, by The Cure. It reminds me of the first autumn that R and I were together. ❤

And I forget to add your second song for H, a song that reminds me of my childhood. I’m picking Those Were The Days by Mary Hopkin, which was for some reason on an audio cassette compilation called Hits For Kids. I fell in love with it when I was 9, so I was sitting there playing it over and over being nostalgic about some tavern somewhere. 

ETA: jesus friggin’ christ, tumblr, would it hurt to actually have my embeds show up?

ooc; This page is one of my favorites from Claudia’s Story for several reasons.

  • Louis singing to Claudia.
  • Louis singing a Creole lullaby to Claudia.
  • Louis in general just being so sweet but
  • Claudia realizing Louis holds her exactly as she does her dolls, thus realizing she’s basically his “doll.”
