P sure one of Lestat’s songs would be Fashion by David Bowie. Just has that vibe.

Yes. Lestat is annoyed that he missed out on the 70s and goes to 70s(and 80s, and 90s)-themed parties. In vintage outfits.

If you have a picture on your mind with multiple characters, with a background, theme for clothing, color palette etc., I’m open for suggestions. Sending me an suggestion doesn’t bind you to transaction and I don’t take it personally if you decline! :–)

When the both sides have agreed I’ll start to work on sketch and will send you this specific “Work In Progress” picture to your e-mail. I’ll finish the sketch (which you can comment about if there’s something you’re not satisfied with and want to get changed) when I’ve received your  payment via paypal. When the drawing is finished I’ll send an original sized image to you,  it’s printable for your personal use.Feel free to send me questions or ask for my e-mail if you’re interested.

ooc; vcpositivity is literally my favorite blog on this site.  Everyone should go send in a submission about someone who’s been great to them, or some nice experience they had, something cool.

There’s enough anon hate on Tumblr.

Excellent point. I avoid drama but even if what I do hear about is all that’s going on, then it’s already too much. Vampires may live forever but we do not; life is too short for that crap when we could be focusing on the people and things that make this fandom great.

ooc; Yeah, exactly.

^Preach.

I thought of how much I loved Louis, and had ever since I had become Lestat’s fledgling. I thought of how deeply I depended upon him, and what I would do for him. It was the love of Louis which had at times crippled Lestat, and enslaved Armand. Louis need have no consciousness of his own beauty, of his own obvious and natural charm.

GTA Vice City : San Francisco Edition – A slight recut of the final scene

YOU MAKE A GOOD POINT, HOW THE HELL DOES LESTAT KNOW HOW TO DRIVE??? DID HE HAVE TO GO TO DRIVERS’ ED? DID HE MAKE LOUIS TEACH HIM? HOW DID LOUIS LEARN? CAN ANY OF THEM DRIVE? DAVID, GABRIELLE AND LESTAT ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT DO IN THE BOOK, OH MY GOSH I NEED TO KNOW.

Well somewhere in the series – I think TVL? – Lestat says that vampiring makes learning things much faster, he learned to read and write just by watching the transcriber do it for him long enough. Same with technology and modern inventions.

In movie!IWTV, he was watching Daniel from the backseat for at least a mile or two before they got on the bridge.

In IWTV (the book) there’s this women named Babette (I think that’s her name) and it’s been a while since I’ve read the book and I was thinking of her character. Did Louis have “feelings” for her? Did Lestat kill her? Whats her story?

Babette Freneire: “Although Claudia is the main gal in Louis’s life, Babette serves as sort of a prelude. She’s one of a gaggle of sisters (and one brother) on a nearby plantation. Louis describes her as “not only as smart as her brother, but far wiser” (1.180). When said brother is killed by Lestat, Louis urges Babette to defy the gender norms of the time and take over the plantation herself.

[S p o i l e r s   b e l o w]

“She does. And she is very successful. But there’s always a rub: Babette knows that Louis is some sort of supernatural creature, and she thinks he’s from the devil. She tells him this when his plantation, Pointe du Lac, is burned. Hearing that this woman who he loves from a distance, and who tries to help him, also thinks he’s a demon, he starts to hate himself even more. We didn’t even know that was possible.

Louis gets out of her life, but later he hears that "Babette had died young, insane, restrained finally from wandering toward the ruins of Pointe du Lac, insisting she had seen the devil there and must find him” (1.575). No wonder Louis hates himself. Everything he touches seems to crumble and fall apart.“
