I’m actually impressed.

*u* thanks for backing me up on that. He’s an optimist, definitely sees the glass as half-full. OF BLOOD.

*whispers* you made my day ^____^

AR has actually admitted herself that she felt her Mayfair/VC crossovers haven’t “worn well” over time. That’s what she said at the booksigning I went to back in Oct of last year.
I haven’t read the werewolves books either, but I read someone’s recap of one of them, and well… let’s just say I’m more of a VC person. I’ve read some of AR’s other books, including the Mayfairs… none of it really captured me like the VC. Siiiigh.
I fear a werewolf/VC crossover. If the ”new seductive, supernatural creatures” were other vampires, why not just write “new seductive vampires” ? Ghosts would be fine, or even unicorns, or mermaids! Just not werewolves, omg. Let Underworld and Twilight mix werewolves and vampires.
My very specific fear is a Louis/werewolf thing. I hope his response would be as follows:

Shhhh, here, have a fanart of Armand cuddling Louis & Daniel (from a scene in Queen of the Damned) by Garama. This would probably be their reaction to the news of “Prince Lestat,” too, lol.

I know me too! It’s surreal.
Further surrealness, she did say this about it (meaning that Marius might be in it, but be careful what you wish for):
“It’s all about Lestat and all about the vampires and what they’re doing right now, how they’re coming to terms with everything that’s happened to them and how Lestat is dealing with demands from all sides that he step forward and become the leader of the tribe,” Rice said on the podcast.
