But yaay! My 2-part Daniel and Armand artwork is finished! I did my best with this piece, and it was my first time mixing digital with traditional art.
First half of a diptych I’m currently working on – Daniel Molloy, from Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles. I’ve been loving his (and Armand’s) story for so much time now, I needed to make some angsty fanart! QotD era. As reference, I used an IWTV still of Christian Slater, and then just gave him light hair 😛

The second part of the diptych will be Armand’s part of this scene in QotD.

Okay but this is particularly hilarious to me because this is exactly the kind of thing Lestat canonically drags Louis for doing. Like when they get into one of their big fights in IWtV and Lestat snarks about Louis “staring for hours at candles as if they were people and standing in the rain like a zombie until your clothes are drenched and you smell like old wardrobe trunks in attics and have the look of a baffled idiot at the zoo.”
… And meanwhile he’s over here getting mesmerized by a freakin’ Wal-Mart. He’s such an absolute hypocrite and I kind of find it hilarious. Like OK Lestat, maybe Louis stares at candles like they’re people, but at least it’s more poetic than being “spellbound” by the dang aspirin bottles.

As asked by @i-want-my-iwtv, this is my second tattoo, in honor of Armand (if it wasn’t that obvious^^).

It took 7 hours for the first time, and 2 more hours a month later for retouching some parts.
I choose lace because Armand love Belgium Lace, and I do handmade lace.
Roses, because as these flowers, he is dangerous and beautiful.
The feather is more for me, because, I write, and draw a lot.
And the collar with the cameo and little red gemms is just a vampire Allegory.
I didn’t choose this words just because Armand said them. It’s more because of the echo they have in me.
Fun fact: my name is Morgane, and the artist who was tattooing me was named Merlin ^^

But then I remembered that flannel is also a material, and became relieved when I realized he was probably wearing like classic gray pants made of flannel……but then I remembered we’re talking about Louis here…..and we all know how he is with clothes, so there’s like a 50/50 chance it is plaid flannel….and yeah the horror came book tenfold.
