Do Louis and lestat have a romantic relationship throughout the whole series? Or is it over after IWTV/TVL? I haven’t read that far and I’m curious, because they’re my favorite couple

You’d think, for one of the fandom’s main ships, there would be more of it explicitly canon. There just isn’t, sadly. But Lestat pines for Louis QUITE ALOT. In the immortal words of @hyperbeeb, “Now matter how hard you ship Louis and Lestat you will never ship Louis and Lestat as hard as Lestat does.” [X]

Part of why it’s such a tough ship is that AR just does not let us have much in terms of fluff of them! It mostly happens off-screen. Which is where fanfic steps in to satisfy that need ;]

I thought about Nicki a lot because he was so arrogant when he says to Lestat “I have the power from you and I know how to use it, which you do not.” And… and then he committing suicide… like wtf. That is why I think there is something more about him.

♛Yes in fact I have more than considered it; and I may or may not be in progress on a new album. I’ve been doing time in a remote location with a little band, doing reworked covers of 80′s and 90′s music. So the new material will have that flavor.

Have you ever seen The Devil’s Violinist? The main guy in it makes me think of Nicolas with the way he looks (plus he’s an excellent violinist)

I haven’t but I really should bc it’s been recc’d to me before ;D Nicolas RPer @darknessmolten uses the main guy, David Garrett (yes he is an excellent violinist!), as their face-claim. More of my opinions about him here.

I had an interview today. They asked me what I read recently, and I immediately said Vampire Chronicles with no regrets. Both of the interviewers were fans, and we gushed for two minutes. I think VC helped me into college.

VC also won over a work person for me. We started off on fairly bad footing, and over time, I let out little hints that I was into VC. She reciprocated, and eventually we became friends over it! We no longer work together but she is one my fave ppl. We thank Lestat for the gift of bringing us together!

Has anyone else suggested that James Marsden would make a fantastic Lestat? His face is pure joy – those eyes! That slightly too-large and super expressive mouth! Perfect cinnamon roll TVL Lestat y/n? (Also, hello, I am still figuring out this tumblr thing but there is VC fandom and this blog which also makes me v. happy :D)

James Marsden omg yasss. His attitude is perfect. You’re very right about the eyes, the smile. Just gotta bleach and style his hair. He already looks great in period costume (ok Enchanted was exaggerated but still, velvet, lace, etc.)

He needs really good lighting for his eyes to be that crystal blue.

Yes, I did read it! No real spoilers under the cut, bc the short answer, about Nicolas, is No :-

Characters refer to Nicolas a few times but he’s not around. There is the theory out there that he faked his death and may yet reappear in the next book, though!

Lestat still has the letters Eleni wrote to him about the Theatre, and he writes about them: “the letters that told me of its prosperity with the Paris audiences, of Armand’s governance, and of the death of my Nicolas, my second fledgling, my only mortal friend, and my greatest failure.”
