It continues to be mutually beneficial, as I have had to learn how to do new things in order to do them for THIS BLOG, like making gifs, and it’s also made me question my own ideas about the characters, and get to know all these people I never would have interacted with if not for our fandom, and so much more <3<3<3 Dare I say that it’s a huge part of my life? That’s probably obvious ^_______^
WAYYYYY back when I started this thing, I was afraid that I was offending our fandom with my sense of humor, as can be seen in one of my early memeythings:
Yeah, it is applicable to her situation gdi Claudia stop eating all your handlers or so help me but it was also my concern whether anyone thought I was being just offensive and not funny at all… clearly the People Off the Page (I love that you used my word for us, too, btw) convinced me that they really enjoy my brand of silly and now I go alot farther, still with the intention of keeping it tasteful (PUN INTENDED):

Louis’ ‘Master and Margarita’ t-shirt. It came from this fascinating website called Out of Print Clothing, where they put old book covers on t-shirts. He pretended to be unimpressed by the gifts, but he wears them often.
They are all too small for me, but they smell like him.

Even though I’m totally unknown in the VC fandom, I’ve followed it and lurked around off and on since 2001 when I was just an 8th grader.
These books and characters are a huge part of my life!
Hey there! That’s a really long time to lurk around! We here don’t like to see people feeling like their on the outskirts of the fandom-we want everyone to feel welcome and like they’re a part of our community; so if you’d like, there are tons of great people that the admins here look up to who would be willing to make you feel more welcome, and maybe get your name a bit more out there!
I personally know that i-want-my-iwtv, cloudsinvenice, and annabellioncourt are more than welcoming and would love talking to you and anyone else who wants to get more involved with the fandom. Also, you can talk to merciful-death and see about being added to her all-inclusive skype group to meet some great people.
And of course, an amazing way to feel closer to the characters and other people of the fandom is to send in asks to any of the great roleplay blogs floating around. Not only can you ask them about personal headcanons, but some blogs will actually give you a chance to talk to the characters themselves.
(This turned out waaaay longer than I had initially planned, and I definitely don’t want you to feel like I’m pressuring you into participating more if you don’t want to. It’s absolutely okay if you’re most comfortable lurking about. We just want to make sure everyone knows there are many open doors for those who want to feel closer to the action!)
fictional characters from books, movies, comics, your fanfics (doing stuff you always wanted them to do, or looking fabulous in clothes you want them to wear)
real people, including actors and celebrities, you and your friends/family (perfect for gifts)
real people as fictional characters (for example your RP faceclaim in 18th century clothes, you in full cosplay without buying clothes, yay!)
real people in the company of fictional characters (you and Loki flying into the sunset on a dragon… eghem, you get the idea)
I do draw nsfw scenes. And I won’t judge your kink, I promise. You ship something and want to see some smut with them? Don’t be shy, I can do it. If you have any reference photo of the pose, clothes, face or setting send it to me along with the description, it makes my job easier.

This is the aforementioned commission – the line art for my Lestat/Daniel tattoo. It is amazing and I love it with a passion of a thousand firey suns. My poor husband has had to put up with me flailing and wibbling with the feels about it all day.
