2015 VC Secret Santa Gift Exchange

This is your reminder that if you are wanting to participate, we need to have your form submitted by December 1st at 11:59PM CST.  That’s Tuesday!  Don’t miss out by forgetting to join!

If you’re unfamiliar with this exchange, this is the second annual virtual Secret Santa gift exchange for the entire Vampire Chronicles fandom.  It works just like your ordinary Secret Santa, where each person is assigned someone they must gift to and remain anonymous towards until the final day of the exchange.  The difference is, this exchange is entirely virtual, and thus requires no sharing of any physical addresses.  All of the “gifts” are fanworks, be it writing, art, graphics, fanmixes, etc.

One of my fav things as a fan of both VC and Hell on Wheels is that Anson Mount (actor behind Cullen Bohannon) is also a fan of VC. Which, btw, everyone should watch Hell on Wheels because it’s such a great series.

Okay so I did a little digging and I found that merciful-death was right, AR mentioned that they all watched Tru Blood in this post here:

I took you because the very first time I caught sight of you my heart stopped, I swear it did. You may not know this, but I followed you for nights before I finally approached  you and in that time I could look upon no other.  I  became obsessed with the idea of having you, of possessing you. Still, I could not yet tell what precisely I wanted from you. Would I suck your soul down into that sweet oblivion, or would I pluck you from mortality to be forever by my side?

Even as my fangs sunk into the delectable  yielding flesh of your mortal throat,  I still did not know.  Sure, I had made up my mind to make you mine, but could I follow through with it? You were so succulent, your mind so tantalizing that  I  briefly fantasized about killing you, but the thought of it was unbearable. I needed to have you. Alive. Immortal. My lover.

So you ask why? It could not possibly be that I was irretrievably in love with you.
