This movie was also released there first and my jealousy as I waited in the US for it – for a LONG TIME – was quite enormous.Â
This movie (and Only Lovers Left Alive, at the other end of the emotional spectrum) was the VC movie weâve been waiting for. It had humor, seriousness, vampire physiology⌠it was a whole package of awesome.Â
I hear that theyâre considering doing a werewolf-centered sequel, âWhat We Do in the Moonlight.â
To my embarrassment, I still havenât seen it! Despite knowing a couple of people involved! And my mom telling me âoh youâll love it, itâs very ~Wellington~*â
But I loved Only Lovers Left Alive when I finally saw it recently, so I will certainly take your rec.
*she means âvery hipsterâ – she lives in Wellington too, but wouldnât call herself âvery ~Wellington~â, thatâs her phrase for me and my friends with our hip arts.
You should see it. Sounds like your mom got it right, btw, very ~vampires~ in ~Wellington~ đ
Please share your thoughts on OLLA. In a new post, or message me, if you prefer. Wasnât it beautiful and also Ava=Claudia, Y/Y?
Ah! Such high praise, thank u! That means a lot, coming from you.
Of course I am more than happy to explain u all a thing or two or a bazillion about VC *u*
Please feel free to ask or share or participate in any way at all, bc of reasons.Â
And I learn so much about Captain America from americancaptaincomic! Children of Darkness (<—what we are perhaps calling ourselves now),
People Off the Page (<—what I have been calling ourselves before), my fanged little trash kittens and monsters (<—new thing I started calling ourselves), go check out this fanart/webcomic, the style is so charming and the writing so smart, you may find yourself slipping into being a Stony shipper, as I have become.Â
Psssst Steve/Tony is similar to Louis/Lestat! Ego size comparisons are a match for Lestat and Tony, har har har…
