This compilation of Leslie Knope compliments is a little bit of a hot mess…much like our beloved Ann herself. I’ve never done this kind of text-collage thing before so it was quite a challenge!

Art.

Gosh, Santa de Lioncourt kills me every time. I’m weeping with laughter, and it’s your fault :’) Précieux petit croissant, ne cesse jamais d’être aussi drôle!

♛Et tu me fais plaisir, aussi! Il faut que je continuer à faire ça, c’est ma metier et ma passion terrible. ooc; *hides face* because you’re gonna correct the femininity/masculinity of my nouns now but you should be impressed that I TRIED. “A” for effort, I award it to myself.

Of course I’m
impressed (seriously, your French is good and the effort much much appreciated!)
A+, and you can believe me, I’m actually getting paid for doing teacher stuff
and all dat shit! (->the sad truth!). But c’mon I’m not
such a mean teacher, except when I’m a tired bitch inspired by muse Lestat IRL.
At some point, I might have said to some of my always late students that I was
later than them so they can be on time for once, and that they should be grateful
for that. In French, we call that “mauvaise foi”.

#Ah yes this is where i have laid my affections

Je t’adore, @takemetocoffin-or-losemeforever. Tu es parfait, simplement parfait. JAMAIS CHANGER.

DON’T THINK I DIDNT CATCH YOUR MISTAKE BC I DID BUT I WAS WILLING TO LET IT GO; SUCH IS THE MASSIVE GENEROSITY IN MY HEART! THE SENTIMENT REMAINS, I ADORE U AND U ARE A GIFT TO OUR FANDOM.

Once we start calling people monsters, we start sacrificing our sense of curiosity, our obligation to ask how they became that way, and why they did what they did: life, and certainly fiction writing, is about being endlessly fascinated by the human condition–naming someone a monster is lazy; it allows you to stop thinking and questioning.

Sometimes people try to d e s t r o y you, precisely because they recognize your power – not because they don’t see it, but because they see it and don’t want it to exist.

’“I want to know, for example, why beauty exists,” she said, “why nature continues to contrive it, and what is the link between the life of a tree and its beauty, and what connects the mere existence of the sea or a lightning storm with the feeling these things inspire in us? If God does not exist, if these things are not unified into one metaphorical system, then why do they retain for us such symbolic power? Lestat calls it the Savage Garden, but for me that is not enough. And I must confess that this, this maniacal curiosity or call it what you will, leads me away from my human victims. It leads me into the open countryside, away from human creation. And maybe it will lead me away from my son, who is under the spell of all things human.“’ -Gabrielle de Lioncourt, The Vampire Lestat

I found Armand! (Or a face for him, anyhow.) Just plunk a russet wig on Rory Finn. He’s got the big brown eyes for it and he’s just boyish enough, I think, to nail the look. There’s a pic on going around tumblr right now where he’s dressed up in Carravaggio-esque garb and his expression just screams Armand to me. I wish I could link you to it…

I think u mean these? bc… oh myyyy…   (  *u*)
