I’m sorry, I meant to get to the asks and then I just… ran out of steam on it, and needed some offline time.
It helped that the funeral was on a perfect day (global warming :- ), the sun was out, there was a soft breeze, and the deceased’s little sister, she’s 14 and taller than her mom, was so supportive to both her parents. I was one of the last to leave their home and the mom of the deceased was surrounded by a few very close friends she’d had since middle school, and I felt like I was leaving her in very capable hands.
But yeah, it hit me again today, the gravity of the situation, and I keep going between sadness and denial, but it’s better now. Sometimes terrible things happen to innocent people.

Idk, tho, Brad was willing to kiss an actual child, I feel like that’s more taboo than kissing an adult man. Knowing the kind of roles he’s had in his career I don’t think he would have refused to kiss a man onscreen in 1994.
^This was apparently not a “stage kiss,” Kirsten said this was her first kiss with a guy and she apparently hated it; she said it felt like kissing her brother (which really is pretty accurate).

Relatively quick piece of Lestat and Louis I did after learning that Anne Rice and her son are currently writing a screenplay for a miniseries adaptation of The Vampire Lestat. I remember when I first read Interview With A Vampire, Louis’ constant complaining drove me nuts.
And then I realized that Lestat just generally elicits complaints because he continually–inadvertently–ends up almost destroying Christendom. So really, I can’t blame Louis and his grandpa sweaters because he puts up with a lot.

(Armand wasn’t in that fic, so I’m not sure in what context you’re referring to him. I did have him being quite a little bitch in my other recent fic that I did w/ @vampchronfic, Hunting in a Walmart, and yes, I think his beauty helps him get away w/ a lot of questionable behavior!)
Idk what would have happened if Nicki hadn’t “gone insane,” but also if Lestat hadn’t been kidnapped that night ;A; Nicki always seemed to have that darkness in him. Would Lestat have been medication enough to keep Nicki… I hesitate to use the word “sane” here, or “happy,” but would Lestat have been enough to make life seem worth living for Nicki?
There is some fanon that Nicki suffered from mental illness, and idk if Lestat was really equipped to handle the role of being a support and caregiver to someone who might have needed alot more than that *cries forever for Nicki*

I’ve been trying for years to get Louis to accept David and David to accept Louis for this very arrangement; does it not make perfect sense that if they love me separately, they should be able to love me together, at the same time, in the same bed, or wherever we are?! Why the hell not! Alas.
I do have some experience with threesomes – and moresomes – but only really outside the context of a relationship, and that is typically with people who don’t expect the ongoing relationship aspect. When do you decide that you want to be closer to someone? What are the signals they give that they want that, too? Not every relationship requires physical intimacy, that’s something you mutually decide, too.
My love life is flashing before my eyes and I can’t pick out answers to those questions *frowns* Unfairly, the best I can tell you is what’s been true for me, that you’ll know when you know, when you can’t keep your hands to yourself because you need their skin on yours, you want to feel their heartbeat with your own and you have a burning need to ask them, “Can I hold your hand?” … And you are 99% sure that they’ll say, “Yes.”
