Tumblr doesn’t notify me when I get new messages, so I apologize for super late replies… orz
Aw, thank you! I’m happy to hear that you enjoy something that has been created with these hands of mine, it’s amazing to hear..!
But yeah, at least one work is in coming, anon! Here’s cropped WIP picture of Louis from the thing I’m currently working on little by little when I’m able to.
My goal with this blog has always been to share fanworks and positivity (and the #not VC stuff that slips in if I feel like it serves some relevant purpose) and to make people feel included, if possible.
Fandom is a nebulous thing, but being supportive of fanworks and ideas is a good way to be inclusive. It’s made the whole experience so rich for me, and brought some wonderful ppl into my life, whether I talk to them regularly or just see their comments/tags, see their RP or ideas in my dash, etc ^_____^
Yes, I remember your encouraging comments on the
collab I did w/ @wicked-felina (Rebness). Thank u for sticking with us throughout, your comments really kept us motivated and fast with the updates *hugs* Comments like yours made it so much more fun than if Rebness and I were writing just for each other, and we definitely want to collab again! ♥♥♥
Ezra has this sweet mischevious/devilish quality that’s more Nicolas than Louis to me, but @thelionscrimsonclaws liked Ezra as Louis on this post.
I haven’t seen this movie but I should. Ezra looks great in period costume. I saw him in We Need to Talk About Kevin, he was gr9! I’d screentest him for Nicki.
^Lookit this sassy trying-not-to-smile smile ;D
^This little flash of smile…
^Idk what to call this except I really like it…
^”TF U SAY ABOUT LESTAT” He bout to smack a bitch.
Poor Madeleine! Did not deserve to die like that ;A; Unfortunately, I’d say she was condembed to die by proxy, being so attached to Claudia.
I don’t think Madeleine’s death was totally under Armand’s control. He was not really the leader of the TdV (see more quotes on that below the cut); in TVA Armand says: “For the record, [Claudia] was slain by my Coven of mad demon actors and actresses,… it became all too clear to too many that she had tried to murder her principal Maker, The Vampire Lestat. It was a crime punishable by death, the murdering of one’s creator or the attempt at it”
^“slain by my Coven”but not that he ordered them to do it. Just that he didn’t stop it from happening.
This is an #unreliable narrator situation again, as there are at least three different accounts of the trial that was held under TdV (see more below the cut)(four if you include the above statement from TVA). In all instances, the important part of the “trial” was that Claudia was the one who had to be convicted and sentenced to death. Louis and Madeleine were secondary concerns.
There was no explanation for why Madeleine was also condemned to death, I would suggest that Santiago (and/or Armand) wanted to kill Madeleine bc she was mad (the extent of which we don’t really know) and/or they didn’t really know what else to do with her. Santiago probably wanted to do it bc it’s thrilling to kill another vampire, as Armand pointed out in book!IWTV: “`You see,’ he said, `killing other vampires is very exciting; that is why it is forbidden under penalty of death.’
I headcanon that they are pretty clean creatures, unless they have a messy kill or a particularly adventurous night 😉
They do love all kinds of creature comforts, tho, so I’d imagine Lestat especially loves baths. Louis is like a cat and has to be dragged into any body of water! Louis
dislikes unnatural chemical scents, so he doesn’t like most scented products, unless they are legitimately natural.
Louis and Lestat are my OTP. I think they can be very romantic. However, I think that Lestat constantly ruins romantic situations. The shampoo unicorn horn will ruin the sexy candlelight bath any time.
I finally took the plunge, my first attempt oils! I think it’s fair to say we are officially going steady at this point! i absolutely love them. Had fun converting one of my digital works into a traditional piece too. 7"x 5" on paper.
