when i was 12 or 13 i got way into the vampire chronicles and ended up reading so many awful vampire novels because of it and p much nothing topped lestat okay

And Lestat would be SO into Sherlock and would turn him and then be completely surprised when their relationship became a clusterfuck. But he’d still hold out hope! 😀

There are a ton of awesome artists in it already and I just confirmed that my comic is actually gonna make it in too (even tho it’s technically too long ghhhhghi’msorry)

So yeah if you’re digging the panels above and wondering “Is this going where I hope it’s going” (knowing my followers, i can confirm for you that yes, yes it is) then consider picking one up!

They only have 20 hours to go and are ALMOST funded, so I hope we can make this happen! I want to own this book too!!

Omg I probably will come out as crazy, but ever since Thor movie came out I had this head-canon of Tom Hiddlestone as Louis (I know “too British not enough French”) but now with that post of Chris as Lestat I just…oh god I need a minute…

You’re not the only one who’s mentioned Hiddleston in VC casting discussion, and the British thing is not a dealbreaker. He’s an actor! Look at Stephen Rea’s performance as Santiago. Stephen Rea is NOT a 19th century Parisienne, and he did a FABULOUS job of becoming exactly that 😉

benedict cumberbatch is almost forty. lestat was immortalized just after he turned 20. as much as anne loves benedict and as sweet of a person as he is

it’s not going to happen

hiddles has a better shot at louis, but he’s still ten years louis’ biological senior. again, louis was 24 when he was turned.

also pushing for these actors to be cast is massively unfair to young, emerging actors that would be much better types for the parts. benedict was in virtually every nerdy adaptation that was made in 2013. we need a break from him.

but stop pushing for them to cast those two because it’s not going to happen. i’m not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings, i’m just being real.

if benedict does get cast in this, it will probably be as marius.

^Agreed on all points. I’d take either as secondary characters tho? And maybe they’d be more available in terms of production time if they weren’t main characters? But I do enjoy this fanart by reapersun and derlaine, we could have HiddlesBatch in a graphic novel ❤

I have been teasing Elsa, Reapersun and Leigh with some really quick manips of “What if Interview with the Vampire remade with Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston!!“ and Reaper actually caved and drew it haha so  I colored over her awesome lineart :p
