Nearly 100% positive that @sheepskeleton is an actual 14th century vampire and @i-want-my-iwtv is an actual vampire scholar/Talamasca/X-Files Agent/Whatever supernatural research center she’s keeping secret.
oh no, why.. would.. you… even… think… that?
I knew my face is not going to pass for a human in this damned century. What betrayed me?
-detailed knowledge of ancient history (so you’re probably older than my original guess)
-adoration for things that evoke strong mental reactions (gorgeous cityscapes, powerful pics of nature, luxuary fashion that emulates previous eras…)
-insane levels of attention to detail in works of art.
-unearthly outer beauty and genius-level intellect along with being artistically talented beyond belief.
Definitely a vampire.
No ok but this is one of the sweetest things I’ve ever heard??? I seriously do not deserve such compliments and also delivered in such a way, I am melting
@sheepskeleton is a vampire, confirmed. I know this bc… I am her MAKER.
Yah sure! First of all: @chrissydeath and @amadeo-child-of-the-renaissance are fab Armand cosplayers/artists and also @sheepskeleton, who has drawn Armand in modern outfits, they’d probably have better suggestions than mine but I WILL TRY.
I’d suggest looking at fanart of Armand, and unfortunately, I don’t have my #fanart collection divided into different characters so I pulled a few memorable ones out for ya here ;D Go ahead and jump in that tag for more, if u dare.
The crucial part of any Armand cosplay is his hair, of course, but everything else is p. much up to you. What would you headcanon he wears? Sometimes he likes to be all decked out in pricey fitted clothes, but he also has a sense of humor, he probably went for all kinds of silliness in the ‘70′s (and he still goes to 70′s themed parties bc of course he does), but I think he’s most comfortable in tight black pants or skinny jeans, a loose t-shirt (Daniel’s probably), and a well-worn light-weather jacket. He looks great in fur for winter, too.
In no special order, some fanart w/ Armand in modern fashion.
[X by @remarried, ~art gallery chic~ turtleneck and mid-thigh coat w/ what looks like trimmed black fur lining. Leather gloves would be good, too.]
[X by @sheepskeleton, keepin’ it casual with a plain collared cotton shirt and denim jacket]
[X Look it’s @chrissydeath as one of @garama‘s versions of Armand! ❤ such attention to detail right down to the belt! I really like Armand in a v-neck.]
[X by @superhiki, Diso inferno indeeeeed! AVIATOR SHADES YES]
[X by @garama,I am diggin’ Armand’s fringe top w/ V neck, tight magenta leather (or pleather!) pants, & classic converse kicks combo but Lestat looks wayyy hotter.]
Ooooh! That could be very interesting. At the very least we know he loves actresses! He could definitely play the Phantom, but would he be willing to cover his face and get all gruesome underneath for it? Hm…
Lestat usually initiates w/ Louis so at the moment of contact, Louis might not appear to be all that into it, bc he’s pleasantly surprised! He gets into it quickly though ;D
I had it through the blood of my mother, who had come from those people, the daughter of a Keltic chieftain married to a Roman patrician.
Marius, The Vampire Lestat
I just don’t understand how this works? Could she still be a Roman citizen, even if he defines her as a Celtic ‘princess’? Was she a freed slave? ARgh I need answers!
She was not a Roman citizen. If Marius’ father indeed legally married her, she must have been a freed slave. My headcanon is that he probably bought her on slave market, possibly after some successful military campaign in Galia (don’t bother figuring out if there was any at the time, there probably wasn’t). She was proably super expensive and the guy who was selling her surely made a point of her blood status to get a higher price.
Now, did he marry her before she was pregnant or after? He must have married her before Marius was born, that’s certain. Marius was born as a free Roman citizen so his mother couldn’t have been a slave at the time. I assume his father bought himself a pretty barbaric princess, got her pregnant and decided to free and marry her so his child would be a citizen. Did he fall in love with her? Was there any other reason? Who knows.

I’ll admit that Armand is not one of my fave characters so I haven’t spent as much effort analyzing him and really getting to know him as others have. Can you ask something specific about him?
You can check my tags for Armand fanart, cosplay, headcanons, etc.:
